About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations to lead and scale the operational backbone of our investment-focused organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, overseeing investment lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance, and enabling scalable growth. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in operations within financial services or investment platforms, with a proven track record in leadership, risk management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the firm's business objectives.

  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives and organizational growth.

  • Define KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor operational efficiency and ROI.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of investments—from due diligence, onboarding, compliance, and execution to portfolio management and exit.

  • Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of deals.

  • Optimize fund operations, capital calls, NAV calculations, and investor reporting processes.

  • Drive process automation and technology integration across key operations.

  • Build robust systems for portfolio monitoring, risk management, and reporting.

  • Lead digital transformation and implement best-in-class operations platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, fund management tools).

  • Ensure full regulatory compliance (SEBI, RBI, FATCA, AML, etc.) across operational processes.

  • Establish internal control frameworks and audit-readiness for operations.

  • Liaise with auditors, legal counsel, and regulators to manage operational risks.

  • Build and lead a high-performing operations team.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Mentor cross-functional teams and champion leadership development within operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred).

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in financial operations; 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

  • Experience in investment operations, fund administration, and cross-border transactions.

  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in financial services.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and data-driven decision-making.
